Eric Bourne - Fusion Dance Intensive Faculty

Parsons Dance Company Member - Former "Movin' Out" Cast Member

Eric found his passion for dance at sixteen when he was performing musical theater in his hometown of Midland, MI. Beginning his training in ballet, tap, and jazz, his love for movement and performance quickly grew. His formal training began while attending Ryerson University in Toronto, and at Perry – Mansfield Performing Arts Camp in their Pre-Professional Program under the direction of Linda Kent. Shortly after moving to New York City in 2007, he danced the role of James in the N. American Tour of Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out. Since August 2008, Eric has been a company member of Parsons Dance Co., dancing repertory of David Parsons. He has also had the privilege dancing for Dancers Responding to AIDs’ Fire Island Dance Festival, City Center Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Wolftrap’s ‘Face of America’ series, Good Morning America, and Propel Zero ‘Drops of Life’ commercial. Eric has enjoyed the great experience of teaching master classes around the United States in university programs, arts academies, and regional theatres in both his style, as well as the Parsons Technique. He is represented through CESD NY.
