Kevin Ferguson - Vitacca Summer Faculty

Master Teacher

Kevin Fitzgerald Ferguson is the Artistic Director of The Movement Lab. Kevin Fitzgerald Ferguson is originally from Houston, Texas. Kevin has studied at The Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, The Ailey School, and holds a BFA from The Boston Conservatory of Music. Mr. Ferguson is an NAACP national winner and a NFFA Arts Recognition and Talent Search Level 1 recipient. Kevin has taught at Ballet Hispanico, The Joffrey School, and The Pulse Performing Arts Center.

Mr. Ferguson has taught internationally and domestically in institutions and universities. His choreography has won domestic awards, high-point, and BEST OF Awards. He has performed work by Nilas Martins, Donald Byrd, and Larry Keigwin. He has danced with Elisa Monte Dance Company, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, Regis and Kelly, and David Parsons Dance Company.

Kevin has worked as a guest artist for Sean Curran and John Higginbotham, formerly with Mark Morris Dance Group. Mr. Ferguson has worked in the commercial and industrial dance industry with Southern Living at Home, X-Box, and for The IFL. He is pleased to be creating in his hometown, and excited to be associated with such a talented staff here at the Movement Lab.
