Robyn Mineko Williams is a dancer and choreographer from Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of River North Dance Company (now River North Dance Chicago) for four years before joining Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 2000. During her 12 years as a Company member, Williams performed works by renowned dancemakers including Ohad Naharin, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, William Forsythe and Johan Inger. She also originated roles in new choreography by Jorma Elo, Alejandro Cerrudo, Sharon Eyal, Aszure Barton, Twyla Tharp, Lar Lubovitch and many others. Recently, Williams performed with Aszure Barton & Artists during their 2012 fall tour.

Williams created her first work in 2001 for Hubbard Street’s Inside/Out Choreographic Workshop, continuing to participate in subsequent seasons. In 2010, she and Hubbard Street Rehearsal Director Terence Marling co-choreographed Harold and the Purple Crayon: A Dance Adventure, a full-length work for Hubbard Street 2. Harold, an interactive program of contemporary dance geared towards families, premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and continues to be performed in venues including Chicago’s Harris Theater for Music and Dance and the Detroit Opera House, as well as at the American Dance Festival. Williams' piece for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's main company, Recall, premiered in HSDC's Dance/Evolve series in January 2012 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Recall was recently commissioned by the Joyce Theatre in New York City for HSDC's 2013 performance season. In Spring 2013, Williams will begin working on a new creation for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She has created for Ben Wardell's The Nexus Project and Chicago's Same Planet, Different World, and was one of two winners in 2012 of Northwest Dance Project’s Pretty Creatives International Choreographic Competition. In 2013, Williams was selected as an Echoreographer by Springboard Danse Montreal.
